Workshop Announcement

Welcome to our new teachers!  

Please contact these new teachers throughout the year to provide support and

                       inform them about the benefits of the PAAE!   

Refer to the Pennsylvania Agricultural Teacher Directory for their contact information!

• Create a monthly report for your school board, highlighting your chapter's activities and accomplishments.
• Invite community members to mentor student SAE's.
• Recognize student accomplishments on school announcements.
• Keep a journal of "fun" stories.
• If a student is unable to afford a FFA jacket, find a community member who would allow the student to work for a day for their jacket or if they are a first year member, apply for the Freshman FFA Alumni Jacket Scholarship.
• Make a "Happy Gram" box for your students.
• Write notes home to parents of students accomplishments-no matter how small.
• Send agriculture related lesson plans to elementary schools.
• Plan visits to your middle school to promote the FFA and Agricultural Program to the incoming Freshman
